Location: Reims, Champagne-Ardenne, France
Address: Centre des Congrès, Reims, France

CARINNA, the Champagne-Ardenne Research and Innovation Agency, together with the PERIA partners, is proud to invite you to the 1st European conference dedicated to the Regional Innovation Agencies on the 29th of March 2011 in Reims.

The aim of this event is to provide a platform for diverse regional innovation systems in Europe by gathering experts from different countries to share their views and experiences on the regional innovation system and its influence on regional innovation and cooperation at European level.

In Europe, regional governments and authorities have developed regional innovation strategies and most of them set up a regional innovation system that includes a regional innovation agency to implement it.

The conference provides a deeper look on the several models of regional innovation systems from all over Europe (Austria, Germany, Poland, Spain…) and the future of regional innovation actors in the perspective of the Europe 2020 Strategy.

The programme includes:

  • a round-table on future of regional innovation actors in the frame of the Innovation Union,
  • a plenary session with Reinhard Büscher from the DG Enterprise of the European Commission,
  • and two workshops with feedback from studies on innovation policies and impact of Regional Innovation Agencies as well as original practices for innovation support implemented in Europe.
Further information and the final programme is available on the following link.

Join us at the conference to enrich your regional innovation system with concrete examples of regional organizations and successful practices for developing and strengthening innovative companies.
