The aim of this event is to provide a platform for diverse regional innovation systems in Europe by gathering experts from different countries to share their views and experiences on the regional innovation system and its influence on regional innovation and cooperation at European level.
In Europe, regional governments and authorities have developed regional innovation strategies and most of them set up a regional innovation system that includes a regional innovation agency to implement it.
The conference provides a deeper look on the several models of regional innovation systems from all over Europe (Austria, Germany, Poland, Spain…) and the future of regional innovation actors in the perspective of the Europe 2020 Strategy.
